Relating the CAPE 2013 Outcomes, PPCP, and EPAs

The Pharmacists’ Patient Care Process was developed after the CAPE 2013 Outcomes, the EPAs for New Pharmacy Graduates operationalize the CAPE 2013 Outcomes into discrete tasks that can be measured. Demonstration of the EPAs for New Pharmacy Graduates requires a pharmacist to integrate multiple competencies from several CAPE domains. The 2017 AACP Academic Affairs Committee mapped the relationships between core EPAs for New Pharmacy Graduates, The Pharmacists’ Patient Care Process, and the CAPE 2013 Educational Outcomes.
