Objectives
- Identify challenges encountered with developing and implementing accommodations in skills laboratory courses
- Discuss strategies for providing equitable learning experiences for students with disabilities in the laboratory setting.
- Describe the importance of relevant communication regarding accommodations amongst stakeholders in the curriculum and approaches to facilitate collaboration.
- Explain opportunities to utilize the skills lab course to optimize accommodations plans prior to implementation in the practice environment.
